"Sundays on the Amalfi Coast" are short itineraries to discover the cultural, naturalistic and traditional resources of the most celebrated Italian coast.
The program:
Sunday, 13th May 2007-"The wood of ferns, the millennial memory of the Ferriere Valley, the adventure of Amalfi handmade paper factories". Let's meet at 10.40 a.m. in the public square of the parking in Pontone.
Sunday, 20th May 2007-"Capri's Borbonic blockhouses: from the Grotta Azzurra to Punta Carena". Let's meet at 8.30 a.m. in the port of Salerno, Molo Manfredi, or at 9.30 a.m. in the port of Amalfi, Molo Pennello (ferries berthing). Do not forget water, cap and solar cream!
Sunday, 27th May 2007-"Contemporary country life and visit to Donna Rosa farm house". Let's meet at 9.45 a.m. near Cannaverde Restaurant.
Sunday, 3rd June 2007- "Contemporary country life: from Cappella Nuova of Dragonea to Riggiulella of Cetara". Let's meet at 8.50 a. m. near the stopped bus of Dragonea.
Sunday, 10th June 2007- "Jeranto Bay and Montaldo Tower at Punta Campanella". Let's meet at 9.30 a.m. in the port of Amalfi, Molo Pennello, (ferries berthing). Do not forget water, cap and solar cream!
Sunday, 17th June 2007-"Ecological Habitats: the officinal plants of the Mediterranean vegetation". Let's meet at 10.50 near the Church of St. Elia in Furore (St. Elia district).
Sunday, 24th June 2007-"Fleets, attacks and sea wars: from Plinio's stories to coastal defensive system". Let's meet at 8.30 a.m. in the port of Salerno, Molo Manfredi, or at 9.45 a.m. in the port of Amalfi, Molo Pennello (ferries berthing). Do not forget water, cap and solar cream!
Sunday, 26th August 2007-"Ecological Habitats: the Marinella of Carcara and the Tortigliano beach". Let's meet at 11.00 at 8th Km of Strada Statale 163 Amalfitana. Do not forget water!
Sunday, 2nd September 2007-"Ecological habitats: the reefs of the Amalfi Coast and the Smeraldo grotto". Let's meet at 8.30 a.m. in the port of Salerno, Molo Manfredi. Do not forget swimming costume, cap, solar cream and lunch!
Sunday, 9th September 2007-"The fjord of Furore". Let's meet at 10.30 near the st. Rose Convent in Conca dei Marini.
Sunday, 16th September 2007-"Active Nature: Swimtrekking in the Natural Reserve of Punta Campanella". Let's meet at 9.30 a.m. in the port of Amalfi, Molo Pennello (ferries berthing). Do not forget water, cap, solar cream and lunch!
Sunday, 23rd September 2007-"The Ancient Villages: an itinerary on Praiano". Let's meet at 10.45 a.m. near St. Luca Church in Praiano.
Sunday, 30th September 2007-"Atrani: the other capital of the Ancient Maritime Republic of Amalfi". Let's meet at 10.00 a. m. in Piazza Municipio in Amalfi.
Sunday, 7th October 2007-"The paths of faith: the holy route of Avvocata". Let's meet at 9.40 a. m. near the Cemetery of Maiori.
Sunday, 14th October 2007-"The villas in Positano". Let's meet at 11.30 a.m. in Positano, near the bus stopped-crossroad to Sponda.
Sunday, 21st October 2007-"The Belvedere from Agerola to Pogerola". Let's meet at 11.10 a.m. in Agerola (bus stopped of St. Lazzaro district).
Sunday, 28th October 2007-"Ravello: the splendor of the Ancient Maritime Republic of Amalfi". Let's meet at 10.40 a.m. near Piazzetta Lacco in Ravello.
Sunday, 4th November 2007-"The milk of life". Let's meet at 10.00 a.m. near Ferraras home (after to be arrived on the Chiunzi Pass, take the way for "Le Querce" Restaurant and after 1 km you will arrive to a big building with a portico).
Sunday, 11th November 2007-"The Gods' Path". Let's meet at 11.10 a.m. in Agerola, near the "pro-loco" (tourist agency) in Bomerano district.
Sunday, 18th November 2007-"The spontaneous architecture of the Amalfi Coast". Let's meet at 10.30 a. m. in Amalfi, near the ancient Arsenals.
Sunday, 25th November 2007-"The Falerio Mountain". Let's meet at 8.30 a.m. in the public square of Albori (one of Vietri sul Mare's districts).
Sunday, 2nd December 2007-" The ceramics". Let's meet at 1030 a.m. in Vietri sul Mare, near Piazza Amandola.
Sunday, 9th December 2007-" Ravello's Gardens: Villa Cimbrone". Let's meet at 10.30 a.m. in the public square of Ravello.
Sunday, 16th December 2007-"Scala: the most ancient town of the Amalfi Coast". Let's meet at 10.40 a.m. in Scala near the Dome.
Sunday, 30th December 2007-"Maiori's alleys". Let's meet at 10.00 a.m. in Maiori, near the obelisk of St. Maria a mare.
